A painter's answer to the balancing act.
ProWise Innovative is a San Antonio company that makes tools for the top of the ladder. It started with one painter, one ladder and a metal fence.
Necessity is the mother of invention.
Sergio Aguirre has worked as a professional painter and finish carpenter for more than 40 years. One afternoon, refinishing and painting a metal fence, he found himself struggling to position his ladder securely, keep his paint from spilling and manage the other tools the job needed, all at the same time.
“As I drove home that frustrating afternoon, I knew there had to be an easier way.”
Once home, he cut and fastened together a rough version out of wood. That first rig became the P3Hpro, the Painters Third Hand. In Sergio's words: “Little did I know it would prove to be so versatile.”

Why ProWise.
The name reflects more than 40 years of hands-on work alongside some of San Antonio's licensed contractors, home builders and painting crews.
Every product we make starts on a real job, with a real frustration. The P3Hpro is the first. The ones that follow will be accessories too, made for tradespeople and for homeowners who keep their houses working and looking their best.
